Kelsey Norris is from Alabama. She earned an MFA from Vanderbilt University and has worked as a teacher and a school librarian in Namibia, as an indie bookseller, and in audiobooks. Her work has been published in The Kenyon Review, Black Warrior Review, and The Rumpus, among others. She was the Spring ‘25 Storytellers Author in Residence at Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL. She is based near Washington, DC.
Her debut story collection, House Gone Quiet, was a finalist for the Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction, and is available wherever books are sold. She is currently at work on her debut novel.
